BEFORE YOU BOOK

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Understand the quote, pickup and handoff. Need an answer about your vehicle? Dispatch can help.

Call 504-908-0072 for time-sensitive coordination, text dispatch, or use the service request form. Give your pickup location, vehicle or load, current condition and destination. Dispatch must confirm the arrangement; submitting a request does not assign a truck.

B’s Towing provides 24/7 towing and roadside dispatch. Tell dispatch what happened and where you are so equipment availability and timing can be checked. Mechanic-shop access is separate from towing dispatch, so call before visiting a shop.

Describe the vehicle or equipment, exact pickup and destination, loading access and any damage, locked wheels or special handling needs. Ask which services the quoted scope includes. New recovery or access information can change the plan and price.

Yes. Text a location pin with a written description of the vehicle’s actual position, road direction, landmark or entrance. Include a number that dispatch can call. Send photos only from a safe position; a map pin alone may identify the wrong entrance.

No. The request gives dispatch information to review. Wait for confirmation of the service, available equipment, pickup arrangement and quoted scope before assuming a truck is assigned. Call if the situation needs prompt coordination or your details change.

Choose the not-sure option on the service form and describe the problem in plain language. Explain whether the vehicle runs, rolls, steers and brakes, plus where it is parked. Dispatch can review whether roadside assistance, towing, recovery or transport is appropriate.

Tell dispatch which wheels are locked or damaged, whether the key works and what happened. A nonrolling vehicle can require different loading equipment and access. Do not force the controls or test movement where it could create danger; the operator assesses handling.

Discuss the destination and confirm that the receiver can accept the vehicle at the proposed time. Share gate, unloading and after-hours instructions when applicable. A destination address is only part of the handoff; dispatch also needs a receiving contact and access plan.

Ask dispatch before pickup. Passenger space, operator arrangements and the vehicle involved may limit what is possible. Mention children, pets, mobility needs and the number of people so you can arrange suitable separate transportation when needed.

The business lists locations in New Orleans, Harvey, Luling and Madisonville and coordinates work across Greater New Orleans, the Westbank, St. Charles Parish and Northshore. Give the actual pickup and destination so dispatch can confirm availability for your particular job.

Call first to confirm the correct location, access instructions and mechanic availability. Towing dispatch being available around the clock does not mean every shop has walk-in service at every hour. Review the location page for the address and map before traveling.

Update dispatch if your location, vehicle condition, destination or access changes. If there is immediate danger, injury, fire or threatening traffic, contact emergency services first. Keep the callback number reachable and confirm any revised pickup or service arrangement directly with dispatch.

A SMOOTHER PICKUP STARTS HERE

The details that
keep things moving.

For a planned move, these details help dispatch review the job. For immediate coordination, call 504-908-0072.

Pinpoint the pickup

A street address is a useful start, but the actual pickup position matters. Tell dispatch where the vehicle or equipment sits on the property and which entrance the operator should use. Share a garage name, gate, loading area or nearby landmark when helpful. For a roadside pickup, provide your direction of travel and a nearby sign from a safe position. Do not stand in traffic to find a marker or take photographs. Mention locked gates, security desks, low overhead clearance or a property manager who controls access. Explain whether someone can meet the truck, release the vehicle and provide the keys. If the pickup position changes after you contact dispatch, send the new details before the operator travels to the original location.

Describe the vehicle as it is

Give the vehicle model or equipment type, whether it runs, and any known difficulty with rolling, steering or braking. Mention collision damage, missing keys, low clearance, attached trailers, cargo or wheels that will not turn. A short description of what happened can help distinguish a roadside request from a transport or recovery. For machinery, share dimensions and operating condition when known. Say when a detail is uncertain instead of guessing. Send a photograph only when it can be taken safely. Dispatch uses this information to review available equipment and access; the operator still makes the final handling assessment at the pickup. Tell dispatch about new damage, a moved vehicle or other changes as soon as they are known.

Confirm the quote and handoff

Ask what service is proposed and what the quoted scope includes before approving the arrangement. Confirm the pickup, destination, equipment assumptions and any circumstances that would require a revised quote. Arrival timing must be confirmed directly; the website does not show a live truck assignment or guarantee an arrival time. Check who can receive the vehicle or load, the receiving address and contact number, and any after-hours or gate instructions. A closed repair shop or locked yard may need approval before delivery. Ask about passenger arrangements and plan separate transportation when needed. Keep essential belongings with you when safe, keep your phone available, and update dispatch if the destination or receiving arrangements change.
